The fourth quarter of 2011 witnessed a steady amount of customer satisfaction for auto insurance companies, even though there was a larger amount of claims during the period, according to a report from J.D. Power and Associates. It took repair shops 8.5 days to fix vehicles on average during the fourth quarter. This is higher than the third quarters figure of 7.8 days, according to the report. However, customer satisfaction was almost identical in both quarters. In the fourth quarter, the rating was 855 on a scale totaling 1,000 points.
