Sugarland band members could be ordered to provide depositions in lawsuits over their scheduled concert at the 2011 Indiana State Fair where seven people were killed and more than 40 injured when a gust of wind toppled equipment that hung over the stage. The band and its ownership company, Lucky Star Inc., are scheduled to give depositions next week, but theyve refused to show up and they havent suggested alternative dates, according to court documents filed Friday by Mid-America Sound Corp., which owns the stage that was used for the concert and is listed as a defendant with Sugarland in the suits.
