Garbage Truck Is Among Vehicles Hit By Gunfire

A 22-year-old man was taken into custody, suspected of shooting at vehicles with a pellet gun Tuesday morning, Sacramento police said. He was identified as Mykhaylo Kushnir. One of the vehicles hit was a garbage truck, which is now at El Camino and Northgate Boulevard, police said. The truck’s right-side window was shot out -- which is also the side the truck driver sits on. The driver was not hit in the shooting, and was able to get his truck to the side of the road as the suspect sped away.
