Andre Hawthorne-Le Mauled By Dogs While Trying To Save Children In DC

Two large dogs threatened a street full of children and their parents Friday night in the 1200 block of Queen Street, NE in the Trinidad neighborhood. Now D.C. Animal Control is on the hunt for those two dogs. Andre Hawthorne-Le is being hailed a hero after he used his body as a human shield. "I was bleeding everywhere. I threw my left arm up so he could grip that and used my right arm to punch on him." The two dogs pinned Hawthorne one clamped down on each arm.
