One arrested after car crashes into home in Ormond Beach

A DeLand man was arrested early Wednesday after his car crashed into a home in Ormond Beach. Steven Clark, 27, faces charges of fleeing and eluding an officer, driving while license suspended and leaving the scene of a crash with property damage, Ormond Beach police Lt. Kenny Hayes said. The incident began when a patrol officer saw a vehicle stop in front of a residence on South St. Andrews Drive, in the Tomoka Oaks subdivision, and a man got out and walked toward the residence, Hayes said.
