I-4 lanes reopen in Osceola County after mail truck crash

A USPS tractor-trailer carrying mail crashed and burned Friday morning on Interstate 4 in Osceola County, forcing officials to close the roadway. Lanes of I-4 reopened about five hours later. The truck driver, Ruben Rendon, 44, of Riverview, was taken to Celebration Hospital with minor injuries after the crash, which happened around 4:30 a.m. on I-4 eastbound at mile marker 65 near World Drive in Celebration. Some of the mail was damaged in the fire, officials said.
