Worker critically hurt in fall down shaft at Fordham University construction site

A Queens construction worker survived a five-story plunge down a shaft at a Fordham University building near Lincoln Center on Monday, but fractured his spine, leg and a few ribs in the fall. Anastassios (Tommy) Intzeyiannis, 41, was in critical condition after tumbling from the the new law school structure on W. 62nd about 11 a.m., cops said. He had surgery to control internal bleeding and has since stabilized, his family said.
