Car plows into Oakland Park restaurant

A popular Haitian restaurant was forced to close its doors for the day Tuesday after a car plowed through the dining area. The vehicle crashed into the M&S Best Tropical Restaurant at the corner of Northeast 38th Street and Andrews Avenue in Oakland Park, sending it completely into the restaurant. The driver parked his car facing out, hit reverse by mistake and ended up inside the restaurant. "He backed up. He went flying," said one witness. Surveillance video captured the car as it came to stop near the back of the business. The vehicle’s headlights were barely visible from Sky 10 HD.
