Fictional Tampa insurance adjuster prepares for prime time

A modern crime drama set in Florida could get a crack at the national television limelight. The project, titled “Wrongful Death,” is one of two dramas sold by producer Josh Schwartz to ABC, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The potential TV show is “set amongst the beaches, buildings and swamps of Florida where a former cop-turned-felon-turned Tampa insurance adjuster reluctantly teams with an energetic but unpolished millennial at a private investigation firm to investigate wrongful deaths,” Hollywood Reporter said.
