Franklin fire officials said a house on Salisbury Road caught fire two times Thursday. Officials said the first fire broke out at about 11 a.m. in the basement of the home. Firefighters quickly put the flames out, but about four hours later a second fire broke out at the same house. When crews arrived to the second fire, they said the house was engulfed in flames. 55 firefighters were called in to help battled the fire. Due to concerns over the instability of the house, crews fought the fire from the outside. The blaze took several hours to extinguish, officials said. Franklin fire officials said no one was home at the time of the fires and no injuries were reported.
