A well-known country star was injured in a crash in Marion County early Tuesday morning. Ocala police said David Allan Coe, famous in the 1970s and 1980s for his outlaw country music, was driving east on West Silver Springs Boulevard when he failed to stop at a red light at Pine Avenue just before 1:30 a.m. A tractor-trailer traveling north struck Coes Chevrolet Suburban on its passenger side.
