CMT’s ’Swanderosa’ estate burns down one month after mom’s death

A family featured on a 2012 reality show is dealing with the loss of their beloved estate just one month after losing their mom to cancer. The Swanderosa, located in the 20400 block of Scenic Loop Road in northwest Bexar County, caught fire around 1 a.m. Wednesday. Firefighters from at least four different departments battled flames for nearly three hours. The loss of the house is a double tragedy for the Swan family, who was featured in the CMT show "Swanderosa." Judy Swan, the mother of the family, died last month following a battle with cancer. She was 55.
