Vintage WWII-era B-25 bomber ’Panchito’ damaged during Sun-N-Fun event

Lakeland Police are asking for the public’s help gathering information about how a B-25 airplane that was part of the Sun-N-Fun event last weekend got damaged. Police say sometime between 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 13 and 9 a.m. on Sunday April 14, the plane was damaged with a deep scratch -- approximately 18" long and about 6 feet off the ground -- to the exterior portion of the plane on the left side in the area of the fuselage.
