Flagler County woman attacked by 5 pit bulls

A Flagler County woman is recovering after being mauled by a pack of pit bull mix breed dogs. It happened at 8:14 p.m. Sunday in the area of Mahogany Boulevard and Holly Lane in Bunnell. The dogs attacked Brandi Bookamer and 6-year-old daughter as they were out for a walk in the northwestern part of the county known as Daytona North. “She was laying in the ditch in the water yelling ’Help, Help somebody please God help me,’" said neighbor Susan Riddle.
