 The Weather Channel

Tropical Storm Cosme, the third named storm of the 2013 Eastern Pacific hurricane season, is churning well south of the Mexican Riviera. It formed as Tropical Depression Three-E well off the southwest coast of Mexico Sunday morning and intensified to tropical-storm strength Monday morning as its maximum sustained winds reached 40 miles per hour. Cosme is forecast to move northwest parallel to the Mexican coast over the next few days with no significant impacts to the mainland.
