Police Say Car Accident Turned into Attempted Homicide

Stockton Police are searching for a man who tried to kill someone after a minor car accident Tuesday morning. Police say the victim was heading north on Frontage Road when someone hit them from behind. The victim got out of his car, but the suspect told him to keep going. The victim insisted he needed the drivers information; that is when the suspect grabbed his pistol and pulled the trigger. The gun didn’t discharge so the suspect hit the victim unconscious and stabbed him. The suspect took off as passersby started approaching.
