Burglar falls through pharmacy ceiling, lands at officers’ feet

Melbourne police said a man who appeared to be burglarizing a pharmacy fell through the ceiling while officers were at the store early Monday morning. Police said they responded to an audible alarm at a CVS Pharmacy on North Wickham Road about 1:30 a.m. Police said surveillance video shows a masked man first using a flashlight to search for specific prescription pills. They said he then turned on the store lights to make his search easier. "One of our officers was in the area of Wickham (Road) and Parkway (Drive) when they heard the audible burglar alarm," said Sgt. Sheridan Shelley of the Melbourne Police Department.
