A Kansas school bus driver and an 8-year-old girl were hurt when their bus overturned in a creek on Thursday, but nine other children aboard escaped unscathed, according to local reports. Emergency workers found the bus leaning on its side in the middle of the frigid waters of Muddy Creek about 5:30 p.m., the Kansas City Star reported. The little girl, Leah Rotramel, was taken to an El Dorado hospital, where she was being treated for neck and back pain. The unidentified driver was taken to another hospital, where doctors were checking him for possible hypothermia.
