Oklahoma Tornado Victims Reunited With Lost Photos

 Thursday, November 14, 2013

Tornado victims got some of their precious pictures back in Moore on Saturday. Oklahoma Photo Rescue hosted their first "reunification event." Volunteers have spent the past five months cleaning photos and posting them online. The group says they have recovered nearly 50,000 photos from the May tornadoes. "After this event, what will happen is we’ll go right back into the process of cleaning. This is only about a third of the photos that we have recovered that are available now," said Angela Madory with the Oklahoma Photo Rescue.
