A vehicle wreck occurred Thursday at the site where hundreds of people gathered to remember a teen who was hit and killed by a truck on Saturday. The accident at the site of the vigil occurred about 5 p.m. at Blue Diamond and Cimarron roads. Three cars were involved in the crash at the vigil. Police said a man was crossing Blue Diamond at Cimarron in a silver Toyota when he was struck by oncoming traffic. Many of the approximately 200 people at the vigil burst into tears watching the wreck unfold. All three occupants of the Toyota were injured. The driver was able to get out of the car, but his two passengers were briefly unconscious. When first responders arrived, the front passenger door had to be pried open.
