A vehicle smashed into a Northland Starbucks coffee shop Friday morning, and eight were injured. Gladstone police confirmed that five ambulances were ordered to the scene. Eight were treated at the scene with five requiring transportation to area hospitals, according to the Gladstone Fire Department. None of the injuries were considered serious. Flying glass caused some of the injuries.
"It sounded like an oxygen tank that someone let off," Lisa Parker said. "It kept going."
