Insurance claims increasing, caused by cold

The single-digit temperatures may be over for now, but the problems they caused are not.
A State Farm Insurance spokesperson told Local 6 the number of claims has gone up significantly in a short amount of time, so much so that they have signaled a catastrophe.
Kip Diggs, Media Specialist for State Farm, said the term means more to agents than customers."We bring in more personnel to handle claims which means we can service our customers that much more quickly," he said.
