3 accused of staging accident to scam insurance

Three people were arrested and charged, accused of staging a car accident in an effort to defraud an insurance company. Shane Glenn, 29, of Marshville, and Christina Stegall, 30, of Marshville, were each arrested and charged in Union County with one count of insurance fraud. Wesley Scarbrough, 30, of Monroe, was arrested and charged in Mecklenburg County with one count of conspiracy to commit insurance fraud.
