Family injured after car crashes into pool

A dramatic crash over the weekend sent a car with a man and two little girls into a pool along Route 12, at Long Cove Road in Gales Ferry. There may been a few factors that prevented this horrible accident from being even worse. First of all the car landed in the pool and the pool being there may have stopped the car from going into the house. Second of all, the pool hadn’t been opened yet and that may have saved the family inside that car’s life.
