Firefighters worked Thursday to extinguish a fire on a 60-foot boat dry docked at the Chula Vista Marina.
The fire at the marina at 997 G St. was reported about 9:10 a.m., according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, which dispatches for the South Bay citys fire department. A fire dispatcher said one person may be injured, but details were not immediately available. Fire crews confined the blaze to the boat, she said.
What caused the boat to catch fire had yet to be determined, according to the dispatcher.
