Car Crashed Into House In East Hartford, Conn.

Emergency crews are at the scene of a crash on High Street where a car is lodged in the side of a house, officials said. Police Sgt. Michael DeMaine said that the call came in about 11:10 a.m. for a single car crash. He said a car was traveling south on High Street when it left the road, struck a parked car at 321 High St. and pushed the second vehicle into a house at 325 High St. Stuart Sevene, who witnessed the crash, said that he was waiting across the street for a friend to pick him up when he saw a blue Volkswagen speed around a mail truck and lose control.
