Officer Injured in ATV Crash While Patrolling World Series

A member of the Kansas City Police Department was injured when his all-terrain vehicle crashed outside Kauffman Stadium, which is hosting Game 6 of the World Series. The officer was conducting perimeter checks when the crash occurred, according to Capt. Tye Grant, of the Kansas City Police Department. He said he did not immediately know the officer’s condition. KCTV5 reporter Josh Marshall went to the scene and was told that the officer lost a finger during the crash, which occurred about 8 p.m.
