Crash Leaves Car Dangling Off Oregon Bridge

A traffic crash that left a car hanging off the side of a bridge has resulted in potential charges for three locals involved. Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies, North Bay Fire and Rescue and Bay Cities Ambulance all responded to a call of a car crashed into the creek near Mile Post 4.5 on Haynes Way Lane in North Bend. A white 1999 Ford Crown Victoria was hanging vertically straight up and down next to the bridge, partially submerged in the creek. Officials say the car was a retired police cruiser.
