Deck Collapse Ends Thanksgiving Day Celebration

EMS responded to Rolling Green Circle in Greenville County after a deck collapsed at a home just after 4 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. Boiling Springs Fire Chief Steve Graham said about 20 people were on the deck when it collapsed during a Thanksgiving Day celebration. He said six of the people suffered serious injuries. Graham said the victims were mostly adults, some of them elderly. The people fell approximately 12 to 15 feet onto concrete and a brick retaining wall, according to Graham.
