Northbound Interstate 25 was closed Saturday afternoon following a violent crash that sent four people to the hospital. The incident happened about 2 p.m. when the driver of a southbound SUV tried to switch lanes near Highway 7, north of E-470. The driver abruptly noticed that there was a vehicle in the way and overcorrected, sending his own vehicle tumbling back across the median, police said. The SUV rolled at least four times. Witnesses said two of the four people in the vehicle were ejected, but the victims later told police they had simply climbed out after the crash.
