ATM Burglar Drives Through Walgreens Storefront

Police are searching for a burglary suspect who drove through the front of a Walgreens building in an apparent attempt targeting an ATM in the store. Gresham police responded to the incident at 3:42 a.m. Sunday at the Walgreens located at 162nd and Glisan, but the suspect’s vehicle, a dark blue Isuzu Trooper, was gone by the time they arrived. The ATM was damaged, and a cash box was taken. Police say it is possible this case may be related to a similar incident that occurred at the Walgreens on 39th and Holgate in Portland in November.
