Cash, jewelry and an SUV were reported stolen from a home in northeast Ocala on Sunday. The resident of the home in the 2200 block of Northeast 79th Place said he left home at about 6 a.m. and when he returned just after 6 p.m. he saw that a door had been forced open, according to Marion County Sheriffs Office reports. More than $2,400 worth of jewelry, including several mens watches, and $800 in cash were missing. The mans 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe also was missing. The electronic key to the gold SUV was missing from the drawer where it was kept, reports state.
