An Orange County deputy responding to a call suffered broken bones and lacerations to his face in a crash early Wednesday in Orlando.The wreck happened around 3:45 a.m. on Oak Ridge Road near Texas Avenue as the deputy was headed to a call about shots being fired.According to the Orange County Sheriffs Office, the deputy noticed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and thought it was possibly involved in the shooting. The deputy turned around to purse the vehicle and the deputys cruiser was T-boned by another vehicle, officials said. The vehicle being pursued by the deputy got away.
