Postal Truck Catches Fire In Onalaska, Wisconsin

No one was injured when a U.S. Postal Service truck caught fire Monday afternoon on Theater Road in Onalaska.Onalaska Fire Chief Don Dominick told News 8 the female driver saw smoke coming from the engine and pulled over at about 3:45 p.m. People who were driving by stopped to help the driver remove mail from the back of the truck to keep it from burning. Our WKBT News8000 Facebook fan Jon Ferris sent us raw video of the fire, which shows the entire front of the truck engulfed in flames. Part of Theater Road, near Pralle Road by the Dahl Automotive dealership, was closed Monday afternoon while crews responded to the incident.
