Storm-Damaged Billboard Falls On Dealership Cars

A Spartanburg County used car lot owner said the storms that blew through the area Monday night toppled a billboard and damaged several vehicles. The billboard fell and damaged vehicles at Morgan’s Used Cars on Asheville Highway. The owners posted photos of the damage on Facebook Tuesday morning. Monday night’s storms also knocked down trees and power lines, leaving 6,000 people without power at one point. More than 2,000 people remained without power in Spartanburg County as of 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
