Police are searching for a group of burglars, who used a truck to plow into a Northeast Miami-Dade business. The incident happened at a T-Mobile store along Northeast 12th Avenue and 163rd Street at around 4:15 a.m., Wednesday. According to Miami-Dade Police Detectives, they are investigating this as a smash and grab burglary. The store’s manager arrived on the scene sometime before 6 a.m. to try and take inventory of what may have been stolen. Cellphones and tablets are among the missing items, totaling $12,000 worth of stolen merchandise.
