Child Dies From Medication Mix-up In Idaho Hospital

A report was released Friday afternoon, revealing that a young child has died after taking the wrong medication at Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls. The following statement was sent from St. Luke’s Health System: "A tragic event occurred at our hospital [recently] -- a young child died after we gave a medication they should not have received. Our hearts go out to the family. We are profoundly sorry that this occurred and have expressed this to them, as well as have offered them any assistance that they might need.
