Low Clearance Bridge Snags Unwary Truckers

Crews were working to remove a truck that has become lodged under a train bridge along River Road, at least the third such crash in three years. Marion County deputies were called out to the bridge near the intersection of River Road and Orville after a box van crashed into the bridge Tuesday. Officials asked drivers to avoid the area as crews worked through the morning to move the truck. This wasn’t the first time a driver missed the low clearance signs on River Road.
