Five students and a teacher were injured Friday morning in a chemistry classroom fire at W.T. Woodson High School in Fairfax County, school district officials said. Fairfax County school and fire officials said the students were injured seriously enough to be taken to the hospital, two of them flown by helicopter to Washington Hospital Center in the District. The two are in “serious condition” but do not have life-threatening injuries, according to Chief Richard Bowers of the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department.
