Man Charged With False Reporting And Fraudulent Insurance Claims

On December 15, the Johnson City Police Department arrested 71-year-old Grady Carr of 1414 Orleans St., Johnson City, and charged him with false reporting and fraudulent insurance claims.
On October 21, Carr reported a theft of firearms from his residence. An investigation revealed information leading investigators to believe that Carr filed the report as part of an attempt to falsely claim almost $2,700 from his insurance company.
