A family accustomed to lending a helping hand is now needing help themselves. Robert Skinner remembers his family’s bedrooms that stood intact just four days ago before a fire tore through his home while he and his family were on Christmas vacation. "This one on this side is the master bedroom, and this one over here is my nephew, we’ve got custody of, Nathan’s bedroom," Skinner said, ”In there, is my two daughters’ bedroom." The Skinner family left on Dec. 25 for a short vacation in Gatlinburg. They planned to come back Sunday night, but that morning, a neighbor called to tell the family their house was up in flames.
