A $35,000 chinchilla fur coat was stolen from a store in Vail over the weekend and the thieves were caught on camera.
The store’s owner asked CBS4 to not reveal the name of the shop, but shared clips of security video that show the thieves in action Saturday around 6:30 p.m.A man and a woman are seen shuffling through the racks of fur coats before the man eventually pulls a coat off its hangar and shoves it under his coat. Both walked out of the store minutes later undetected.
The store’s owner believes the duo who took the coat are the same thieves who stole thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise from clothing stores in Boulder and Denver earlier that day.
