Car Strikes Houston School Bus

Nine students were loaded into ambulances following an HISD school bus crash in southeast Houston. The Houston Fire Department says they were taken to the hospital as a precaution. There were no reports of serious injuries. The crash happened on Park Place Blvd near Old Galveston Road, not far from the 610 Loop and Highway 225. Views from Air 11 showed a wrecked white Chevrolet sedan nearby. It appeared the car struck the bus from behind. As of 7:39 a.m. several ambulances were on the scene along with Houston Police.
