At least nine people were injured when an MTA express bus crashed into a pillar beneath the FDR Drive on Monday. A QM11 bus on its way to Queens rammed into the overpass at 33rd St. at 4:12 p.m., fire and transit officials said. Three people were treated at Bellevue Hospital and the other six passengers declined medical attention, according to the FDNY. An NYPD highway patrol source said the driver went to NYU-Langone Medical Center with chest pains, but he was still able to apologize to passengers after the crash.
