Welding Worker Sets Dallas Apartment Complex On Fire

A three-alarm fire is out at an apartment complex in Dallas. The fire broke out Friday afternoon inside a three-story building at the Carrollton Park Apartments on Kelly Boulevard. About 60 firefighters were called to the scene, Jason Evans with Dallas Fire-Rescue said. "When first responding companies arrived at the location, they observed a little smoke coming from a three-story apartment building. Though they first attempted an offensive attack on the fire; what began as smoke showing quickly evolved into fire coming through the roof and an eventual roof collapse," Evans said.
