Large BBQ Grill In Tow Detaches, Strikes Oncoming Vehicle

One person is dead following a crash in Wayne County on Saturday. According to Macedon Police Chief John Colella, a dislodged barbecue grill came loose from a recreational vehicle, struck a car traveling in the opposite direction, and killed the passenger in the vehicle. The crash happened on Route 31 near Creek Road in Macedon around 5:15 p.m. when the RV was traveling east. "It was towing a very large barbecue, like a pig cooker, behind it, and somehow that detached from the motor home," Colella said.
