A half dozen kids were shocked by electricity on a Connecticut boardwalk ride Tuesday, police said. The six children were rushed to a local hospital with minor injuries after being shocked on the Scrambler at Ocean Beach Park in New London.
The shock came as the riders were getting off the whirling attraction. One boy suffered burns to his hands while he touched a bar to step off the ride. The other five kids suffered even more minor injuries, officials said. The operator said he also felt the shocking current.
