A two-alarm fire at an Escondido motorcycle dealership may have caused as much as $2.5 million in damage, a fire battalion chief said. It was still unclear Sunday what led to the fire, first reported about 10:30 p.m. Saturday. The building home to a Ducati dealership was still too unstable to allow investigators inside. Battalion Chief Art Holcomb said no one would be allowed into Moto Forza until the owners insurance company comes out and the walls are shored up. Crews were at the scene in less than three minutes, but could not enter the fully-engulfed structure for fear the roof would collapse.
