Heavy Rainfall Causes Flooding In Danbury, Texas

Residents in Danbury woke up to flooded homes and streets as more than 11 inches of rain hit the area. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until 4 p.m. with a Flash Flooding Warning issued for central Brazoria County until 8 a.m. Eyewitness News Reporter Jeff Ehling spoke to homeowners about the water that reached inside their homes. "About 4 a.m., my neighbors woke me up. We were getting water in the house and my car has water in it," Amy Meeks said. Meeks’ home was flooded overnight after the rain started coming down on the area around midnight.
