President Approves Louisiana Emergency Declaration

President Trump has approved a Louisiana emergency declaration as rain and flooding from Hurricane Harvey’s aftermath continue to hit the region. Parts of Louisiana could get up to 25 inches of rain, the Times-Picayune reported Sunday. Houston and other parts of Texas have also been devastated by the storm. Trump had already announced a disaster proclamation for Texas, granting the state federal aid as Harvey made landfall. At least five people have died from the storm.
